Jnana yoga: Is unity through knowledge, but this is much more than intellectual pursuit. Jnana yoga is a method to turn knowledge into pure wisdom. Knowledge is not always practical or pure wisdom.
Today, many children have access to multiple forms of media, so they are knowledgeable, but are they very wise? Children are young and need time to develop wisdom. How many times have you met a person who was book smart, but lacked common sense in daily decision making? Awareness, logic, and pure wisdom are cultivated through meditation, self-analysis, self-realization, and developing a deeper connection with God.

People must realize that we must maintain a harmony within our body, as well as with the world. For example a man has become used to comforts in life which he buys with his wealth such as a temperature controlled house and car which he uses to drive distances he can easily walk. By failing to adapt to the surroundings easily he is putting himself at risk, for instance what happens if he loses his wealth suddenly and all the comfort of life vanishes as he cannot afford them easily anymore? By maintaining a balance with our body and surroundings we will be able to adapt easily to the changes in life, yoga teaches a person to adapt easily to anything in life.

...ame it would be if every enlightened soul, saint, and prophet, throughout history, worried about being attached to outcome. Can you imagine if every inventor, explorer, and statesman, in our history, refused to take action, because he or she might be too attached to an outcome? Nobody would ever take action to prepare for anything and we might not exist.
The first person to say the words, "Detach oneself from outcome," had an intention, took action, and was attached to the outcome of saying those words. This is a pure paradox. In fact, this is a complete misinterpretation of the concept of non-attachment.
